Search

Search every entry you follow by title, author and full text with Ctrl+K. Words match as prefixes, a quoted phrase matches exactly, and all words must match.

Press Ctrl+K or click the search icon in the top bar. The search runs over the view you are in: a feed, a category, or All.

What is searched

Every entry's title, author and text. The text is the full article when MicroRSS has fetched it (see Full article text) and the feed's own content otherwise. Read entries are searched too, as long as they are still kept.

How words match

  • Each word matches as a prefix: solar finds «solar», «solaris» and «solar-powered». This is what makes Ukrainian and Russian searches work across declensions: сонячн finds «сонячна», «сонячної» and «сонячним».
  • Every word must match somewhere in the entry; order does not matter.
  • Put a phrase in double quotes to match those exact words in that order: "feed engine".
  • There are no operators. AND, OR, NOT, a minus sign and column names are searched for as words.
  • Punctuation is ignored. A search with nothing but punctuation matches nothing.

Clearing

The × in the search field, or Esc, returns to the list you were in.
