Feeds
A subscription's settings tab by tab, how and when a feed is refreshed, keep and block rules, scraper and rewrite rules, and building a feed from a page.
A feed in MicroRSS is a subscription: the address the engine reads, and what is yours on top of it: the title, the category, the rules. These pages go through everything a subscription can do.
- Feed settings
Every tab of a feed's settings: General, Source or Page Feed, Original Content, Cover Image, Image Archive, Danger Zone, and the administrator's Network tab.
- Refresh and the fetch log
How often a feed is fetched, what a manual refresh does and how many you get per hour, why a feed pauses or freezes, and how to read the fetch log.
- Filters
Keep and block rules hide what you do not read before you see it. By title, content, link or author, as a phrase or a regular expression, in Miniflux's grammar.
- Rewrite and scraper rules
Scraper rules name the article's container on the page; rewrite rules clean the content up. Both in Miniflux's syntax, with an assistant that drafts them.
- Page feeds
Turn any listing page into a feed. Cards mode follows repeated items, sections mode splits a long page at its headings; the signed address holds the settings.
