Releases and updates
RSS feed for an app's version history on the App Store
Apple has no feed for an app's updates. MicroRSS reads the app through Apple's own lookup endpoint, the public one that answers with the current version, its release notes and date, and makes an entry each time the version changes.
Paste the app's App Store link into Add Feed. The storefront in the link (us, ua, de…) decides which store's notes you read.
What you get
- One entry per version: the release notes, the date, the size and the minimum iOS or macOS
- The app's icon as the feed icon; each entry links to the app's page
- iPhone, iPad and Mac apps alike
How to add it
- 1 Copy the link
Open the App Store page you want to follow in your browser and copy its address.
- 2 Paste it into Add Feed
MicroRSS recognises the link and offers the feed; nothing else to fill in.
- 3 Read
New entries arrive on the feed's schedule. The options below live in the feed's settings, under Source.

Questions
- Does the App Store have an RSS feed for app updates?
- No. Apple offers RSS only for charts; MicroRSS reads the lookup endpoint to build an update feed per app.
- Does it work for Google Play?
- Not yet. Google Play has no comparable endpoint; a reliable one is still being looked for.
- Will I see old versions?
- Only from the day the feed is added onward.
