Feeds the site has but never links to
RSS feed for Wikipedia's featured article of the day
Wikipedia publishes "Today's featured article" as an Atom feed through its API, one entry per day with the article's lead and picture, on the editions that run the feature (English, German, French). The main page does not link to it. Paste the main page and MicroRSS subscribes to the feed for that edition.
The English edition also serves "On this day" and "Picture of the day" as feeds; paste the feed addresses directly for those.
What you get
- One entry a day: the featured article's summary and its image
- English, German and French editions by their main page
- A link to the full article
- Stable for years: the feed is Wikipedia's own API
How to add it
- 1 Copy the link
Open the Wikipedia page you want to follow in your browser and copy its address.
- 2 Paste it into Add Feed
MicroRSS recognises the link and offers the feed; nothing else to fill in.
- 3 Read
New entries arrive on the feed's schedule, with the rest of your subscriptions.

Questions
- Does Wikipedia have RSS?
- Yes, featured feeds through its API (featured article, on this day, picture of the day) on the editions that run them, plus a recent-changes feed on every edition.
- Can I get the whole article?
- The feed carries the summary. A crawler subscription in MicroRSS fetches the full article from the link.
